ReplyDeleteIt’s a new day, and the morning sun gently kisses my eyelids open. I wake and notice out the window...the miracle of nature. A hummingbird magically hovers in the air...its wings a blur of motion, floating side-to-side back-and-forth. It gently dips its tongue...drinking the ruby colored nectar in the crystal flower stand (just outside the window)...ending the moment only when filled. Migration is in full swing and it should not be here...but the universe does not stop, when the picture is not perfect. What delight it must have felt to find the succulent elixir...what a marvel to charge its body for tomorrows energy. To find friends in life, at times, can seem distant and difficult...and when a single flower appears where it should not be...an oasis in the desert...what a joy to savor every moment. Life can batter us like rough waves on the beach...but, finding people that are like us...a breath of fresh air...comforting knowledge we are not alone in the vast existence. Don’t mind me, while I drink you in...lol
